World Health Day 2024 is celebrated annually with an aim to raise awareness about important health issues and promote global health improvement for all.

Medical animations and scientific storytelling support the efforts of healthcare organizations and innovators in their pursuit for better health globally by shedding light on new research breakthroughs and awareness initiatives, simplifying the explanation of complex processes and medical procedures, as well as enhancing professional, student and patient education and increasing a more equal global access to medical information and educational resources.

Bringing to screen the world beyond the limits of human sight, through animations of Mechanism of Disease and Mode of Action of specific medical solutions, helps research teams present innovations in an easy to understand way for the respected audience, thus facilitating acceptance, approvals, and drawing the needed attention and/or funding. Sometimes, even giving a slightly different perspective to the scientists themselves and making them think outside of the box.

The World Health Day is observed on 7th of April - the date on which the World Health Organization (WHO) was founded in 1948 and each year draws attention to a specific health topic of concern to people all over the world.

This year’s theme - 'My health, my right' champions the right of everyone, everywhere to have access to quality health services, education, and information, as well as safe drinking water, clean air, good nutrition, quality housing, decent working and environmental conditions, and freedom from discrimination.
